Operator: Vantage & Co., operated by Matthew VanBrunt as a sole proprietorship (DBA Vantage & Co.), Utah ("we," "us," or "our").
This privacy policy explains how vantageandcompany.com ("the Site") collects, uses, retains, and protects information when you visit this site or subscribe to the newsletter. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Email address: If you subscribe to the Vantage & Co. newsletter, we collect your email address. This is used solely to send you the newsletter and related communications. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
Usage and analytics data: This site uses Ghost's built-in privacy-first analytics, which collects aggregated, anonymous data — including browser type, referring pages, and pages visited. This data cannot be used to identify individual visitors. No third-party analytics cookies are set by default. If additional analytics tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are implemented.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send you the Vantage & Co. newsletter and related content you have subscribed to receive
- Understand how the Site is being used and improve content and performance
- Respond to inquiries sent to our contact email
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond those stated above.
3. Data Retention
Email subscribers: Your email address is retained for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list. You may also request complete deletion of your data at any time — see Section 8 (Your Rights) below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Analytics data: Site analytics data collected via Ghost's built-in analytics is aggregated and anonymous. It is not linked to individual users and is retained indefinitely in aggregated form only.
4. Cookies
This site uses Ghost's built-in analytics, which does not set third-party tracking cookies. The Site may use functional cookies necessary for basic site operation (such as remembering your session if you are a logged-in Ghost member). These functional cookies do not track you across other websites.
Managing cookies: You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers: Chrome | Firefox | Safari. Disabling functional cookies may affect site features but will not prevent you from reading content.
5. Affiliate Disclosure and FTC Compliance
Vantage & Co. participates in the Amazon Associates Program and may participate in other affiliate advertising programs. Posts, pages, and Pinterest content published by Vantage & Co. may contain affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate disclosure appears:
- At the top of every blog post containing affiliate links, before the first affiliate link appears
- On every Pinterest pin containing affiliate links
- On the Resources page, above all product listings
Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial content, product selection, or recommendations on this site. We only recommend products we would genuinely stand behind.
This disclosure is made in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255).
